Abstract Text This thesis looks towards the development of a software tool to reduce the dependency resulting from an outsourcing relationship between a large Swiss financial institute, and a software development company. To reduce the knowledge asymmetries between these two organizations, an initiative is started to transfer knowledge from the provider to the client. The first step in this process is the elicitation of knowledge with the help of a software tool using the topic map standard. The requirements for this software prototype are gathered by both theoretical concepts and user interviews. The software prototype allows for the collaborative creation of a knowledge graph, based on a shared material metaphor. The collaboratively created knowledge map can be seen as a large semantical indexing mechanism, representing the organizational memory.
Zusammenfassung Diese Diplomarbeit befasst sich mit der Entwicklung einer Software, die hilft Abhängigkeiten, die durch eine Outsourcing-Beziehung entstanden sind, zu reduzieren. Zur Verringerung der Informationsassymetrien wurde eine Initiative gestartet, um das Wissen vom Outsourcing-Anbieter zum Outsourcing-Kunden zu transferieren. Der erste Schritt in diesem Prozess ist das Darstellen des existierenden Wissens mit Hilfe einer auf dem Topic-Map-Standard basierenden Software. Die Anforderungen an diese Software sind aus theoretischen Konzepten und Benutzerinterviews abgeleitet. Der in dieser Arbeit enwickelte Prototyp unterstützt das kollaborative Erstellen eines Knowledge-Graphs, der aus gemeinsamem Material besteht. Er kann als ein grosses semantisches Inhaltsverzeichnis interpretiert werden, welches das organisationale Wissen darstellt.
