| Abstract Text | Currently there are virtually no valid measuring instruments available to estimate the quality of project managers in a reliable way. Yet these measuring instruments would be urgently needed for the evaluation of projects along the workflow and for the selection of the most appropriate person as a project manager. Therefore, the goal of this thesis is to make a contribution to the implementation of an innovative assessment-process for making diagnosis of project managers. The thesis consists of two sequential parts. First, a market analysis will be carried out in order to finally compare available Open-Source-software. Goal of this analysis is to make a well-founded decision memo along with a precise realization proposal for the second part of the thesis. Based on the results of the analysis and the decision memo a decision will be made on which Open-Source-software will be used for the second part of the thesis and on which extensions need to be implemented so that the final software will meet its requirements, which will be listed later on. Therefore, the second part of the thesis will include the implementation and the extension (if necessary) of the chosen software. |
| Zusammenfassung | Zur verlässlichen Einschätzung der Qualität von Projektmanagern gibt es derzeit nahezu keine validen Messinstrumente. Diese würden jedoch zur besseren prozessbegleitenden Evaluation von Projekten sowie zur Auswahl möglichst geeigneter Personen als Projektmanager dringend benötigt. Ziel der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit ist es deshalb, einen Beitrag zur Implementierung eines innovativen Assessment-Verfahrens für die Diagnostik von Projektmanagern zu leisten. Die Arbeit besteht aus zwei sequentiellen Teilen. Zunächst wird eine Statusanalyse mit dem Ziel des Vergleichs verfügbarer Open-Source-Software durchgeführt. Ziel der Analyse ist eine fundierte Entscheidungsvorlage inklusive konkretem Umsetzungsvorschlag für den zweiten Hauptteil der Diplomarbeit. Basierend auf den Analyseergebnissen und der Entscheidungsvorlage wird entschieden, welche Open-Source-Software die Grundlage für den zweiten Teil der Arbeit darstellt sowie welche Erweiterungen programmiert werden müssen, damit die finale Software den später aufgeführten Zielkriterien entspricht. Dieser zweite Teil beinhaltet daher die Implementierung und ggf. Erweiterung der ausgewählten Software. |
