| Abstract Text | Nowadays, the management of software projects is confronted with increasing complexity, little time and constant change of requirements. Because of that development, literature describes a variety of agile management methods facing exactly these difficult project environments. Scrum is an example of one of these agile methods. It meets the complexity and change of requirements by applying very few processes and artefacts. Its Framework is supposed to increase the chance of success in comparison to alternative management methods. This diploma thesis discusses the theoretical aspects of agile methods and their reasonable appliance in software projects. The question to which extend Scrum covers the MIO-approach and what requirements its social guidance imposes to the development of a web platform on basis of Plone, will also be explored. The web platform is intended to be used as supporting tool for the project mioBook at the department of informatics at the university of Zurich. |
| Zusammenfassung | Das Management heutiger Softwareprojekte ist zunehmend steigender Komplexität, hohem Zeitdruck und ständigen Veränderungen ausgesetzt. In der Literatur finden sich dazu vermehrt Ansätze agiler Projektmanagementmethoden, welche dem schwierigen Projektumfeld Rechnung tragen und die Erfolgsaussichten in der Umsetzung erhöhen sollen. Ein prominenter Vertreter dieser genannten Ansätze stellt Scrum dar. Scrum verspricht - trotz weniger einfacher Verfahren und Artefakte - geeignete Rahmenbedingungen für ein erfolgreiches Management solcher komplexen und sich schnell verändernden Projekte. Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich zum Einen mit der theoretischen Auseinandersetzung von agilen Methoden und deren Anwendung im geeigneten Projektumfeld, zum Anderen mit der Fragestellung inwiefern sich agile Methoden, insbesondere Scrum, mit dem MIO-Ansatz vereinen lassen und welche Anforderungen sich aus der sozialen F¨uhrung mit Scrum f¨ur eine unterstützende webbasierte Plattform ergeben. Die anschliessende Ausarbeitung eines Konzeptes und die darauf folgende Umsetzung auf der Basis von Plone, soll dem Projekt mioBook des Instituts für Informatik der Universität Zürich unterstützend zur Seite gestellt werden. |
