| Abstract Text | UBS Wealth Management & Business Banking runs the self-developed System 'i-SAC' for the inventory of all the soft- and hardware components. To meet the requirements, which are highly dependent on the company, the usage of a standard-software is not feasible. The growing complexity of the software environment leads to an increased need for graphical reporting, which cannot be achieved with 'i-SAC'. The usage of an independent method is advisable, as the integration of complementary data sources is needed. Within the scope of this thesis, currently used tools and mechanisms are being examined. Based on requirements defined by employees working in different areas, a process for a flexible creation of visualizations is proposed and verified with the implementation of a prototype. |
| Zusammenfassung | UBS Wealth Management & Business Banking betreibt für die Inventarisierung von Soft- und Hardwarekomponenten die selbst entwickelte Software 'i-SAC'. Die an das Inventar-System gestellten Anforderungen orientieren sich stark an unternehmensspezifischen Gegebenheiten, was die Verwendung einer Standardsoftware ausschliesst. Die steigende Komplexität der Softwarelandschaft führt zu einem vermehrten Bedürfnis nach Auswertungen in graphischer Form, welches durch 'i-SAC' nicht erfüllt werden kann. Unter anderem auch aufgrund der Tatsache, dass für zahlreiche Visualisierungen ergänzende Datenquellen miteinbezogen werden müssen, liegt die Verwendung eines unabhängigen Verfahrens nahe. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit werden aktuell eingesetzte Werkzeuge und Mechanismen betrachtet. Aufbauend auf Anforderungen, welche von Mitarbeitern aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen formuliert wurden, wird ein Vorschlag für eine flexible Visualisierungserstellung ausgearbeitet und anhand eines Prototyps verifiziert. |
