Abstract Text | While many studies have been conducted over past years trying to identify the most relevant factors influencing the variability of P/E multiples, most of them focus on actually observed P/E multiple. In my thesis, in order to isolate from market effects, I investigate the justified P/E ratio, i.e. I decompose the P/E multiple and use its fundamental components in order to answer the central question of my thesis, which is: where does the variability of P/E ratio within the same industry come from? |
