| Abstract Text | Data is increasingly published as a stream of data. The TripleWave framework was developed to facilitate the publication of such data, following Linked Data principles. Because TripleWave lacked a standard vocabulary for describing its metadata, we extend TripleWave to use VoCaLS. VoCaLS proposes a standard for describing streams on the web. With the technology for streaming Linked Data being mature enough, we develop a catalog for discovering published streams on the web. The catalog of web streams collects and stores information about web streams and explains how to connect to such a web stream. In order to fill the catalog, we stream several datasets with TripleWave and extend TripleWave to register itself at the catalog. |
| Zusammenfassung | Daten werden zunehmen als Datenströme veröffentlicht und nicht mehr nur in statischer Form. Um das Publizieren von Daten gemäss Linked-Data-Prinzipien zu ermöglichen wurde das TripleWave-Framework entwickelt. Dabei fehlt es TripleWave an einem standardisierten Vokabular, um die Metadaten des Streams zu beschreiben. Wir integrieren deshalb VoCaLS, welches ein standardisiertes Streaming-Vokabular für Linked-Data darstellt, in TripleWave. Da die Technologie für das Streamen von Linked-Data reif genug ist, gilt es nun diese im Internet auffindbar zu machen. Deshalb implementieren wir einen Katalog für Web-Streams, der als zentrale Quelle für Stream-Metadaten dient und erklärt, wie auf ein Stream zugegriffen werden kann. Zusätzlich streamen wir Datensätze mit TripleWave und erweitern TripleWave, sich automatisch beim Katalog zu registrieren. |
