Abstract Text | The practice of good corporate governance is key to the long-term success of companies. A survey was conducted to evaluate the preferences and opinions of companies and institutional investors on topics regarding voting rights, compensation, the board of directors, and other current issues. A particular focus was set on governance activism and Corporate Social Responsibility. The answers of the different groups of participants were compared to each other and to previous surveys. The survey empirically underpins the increasing importance of direct interactions between companies and their investors. |
