| Abstract Text | Dividend policy is a controversially discussed issue in corporate finance theory. Although dividend policy is a widely researched topic, no consistent theory could be developed yet. Nevertheless, the fact that stock prices react to dividend announcements is demonstrated in numerous studies. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the stock market reaction to corporate dividend announcements. |
