Abstract Text This bachelor thesis explores the skin conductance response of advice takers during mo-bile and conventional advisory services of crime prevention. During a conventional advi-sory service the advisor is carrying multiple information sheets and safety leaflets. In a mobile advisory service he can visualize and explain this on the tablet. Furthermore, the tablet saves all the information from the advisory process and the advice will receive this after the consultancy. The aim of this thesis was to determine how emotional reactions differentiate between the mobile home-security advisory service and the conventional approach. To answer this an explorative analysis of the wristband data was conducted. In a field study, trial home security advices were held. During each home security advice, the advice-takers wore the Empatica E4 wristband, which measured their skin conduct-ance. Skin conductance is a reliable indicator for attention, arousal and emotion. Meas-urements were then analysed. Firstly, the event-related skin conductance was extracted. Afterwards the responsible stimuli, which triggered the event-related skin conductance response, was identified. The result of the interpretation of the output and the relevant literature are finalized to six hypotheses.
